This is a terrific compilation. Definitely not the selection that I would
have made but it does manage to give a fairly complete overview of what
was happening at the time. The best moments for me (apart, of course, from
the bits I'm in) are the VU influenced drone rock of The Moodists, The
Take's almost definitive post-punk sound and Essendon Airport's delicious
dip into the theme from 'Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea'.
So cheers to Guy and David - hopefully this will only be the start of a
set of compilations?
